I highly recommend those mods for heavier tires. I actually blew up my tranny at about 3 hrs, turf mode gears came out bottom. Put in 2016 tranny, no turf and beefed it up.

So we have been fortunate that the General has not changed cosmetically very much. On that same note, it is long overdue and should be expected in the coming years. They have good competition in this crossover space from Yamaha and CanAm.

In fast corners you will feel a little more body roll but all four wheels will stay on the ground where if you leave the front bar on, the inside front tire will lift off the ground.

Rear end noise - Polaris General Forum

The source of the grinding noise was the rear caliper mounting bracket pins and the caliper were getting worn and allowing the caliper to move and grind on the rotor. Polaris recommended replacing the whole assembly. No more rear end noise.. Reply Like.
