2018年4月15日 · The 8K-BAM. This map was a two-person project by me and @Drex, which we managed to complete in a month. This is an Equirectangular GIS based basemap that fits somewhere between the QBAM and the MBAM in size. It uses the same overlays as the VTBAM for administrative divisions but uses a different source for the water.

2020年2月29日 · A "BAM" is a "Big-Arsed Map" or "Big Ass Map" so named because, well, they're BIG. Q-BAM was an even bigger standard which was created by Alternatehistory.com member Qazaq in 2008. M-BAM was the successor format, around 9 times bigger I think, created by the same community in 2015.
